Citing Disability Employment Data Correctly Matters
People with disabilities are continuing to make improvements in the labor force. While the gains are relatively modest, they are consistent and more people are participating, which is positive news.
Although there are several "sources" of disability data points one of the best is https://www.researchondisability.org/ntide .
Some blogs & posts throughout social media have stated that "Unemployment rate IS NOT equal to 70%." yet this is not accurate. A great explanation of this can be found here: https://disabilitystatistics.org/faq.cfm#Q6
Also, a great resource to utilize for disability data is https://disabilitycompendium.org/
