Inspiring Program at Milwaukee County Zoo Provides Opportunities for Interns with Disabilities

Have you heard about the fantastic work happening at the Milwaukee County Zoo? Project Search program gives young adults with disabilities invaluable hands-on experience. This nine-month vocational training initiative rotates interns through different departments at the zoo, where they learn essential job and life skills, from guest services to animal care.

Project Search is a partnership between the zoo, the state, and Goodwill. It's designed to boost confidence and independence and provide real-world experience that can be transferred to any future job. It's truly inspiring to see this program's positive impact on these young adults' lives.
