Should festivals actively host more disabled artists?

Hello Open Community,
I'm curious about what we think about more disabled people performing at festivals. I have been thinking about disability not taking up our whole identity and I have seen lots of artists taking a stand on other political matters but not much around disability.

I would definitely like to see more disabled performers on the stage and in show. However often venues think about accessible needs for the audience but not performers (employees).

I could not agree more Samantha. I know there are organisations such as Attitude Is Everything who support disabled artists with marketing and general management. I'm sure they support their cohort but resources may be limited. https://attitudeiseverything.org.uk/
