Disability "Community"
Interested to learn what others thoughts are relative to the notion of their being a disability "community."
Community in the sense of "a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common'" would not apply.
So, perhaps it could be "a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals." but do all people with disabilities share any common attitudes, interests, and goals?

Interesting take David! Community may mean different things to different people.
I like the fellowship angle you've taken. Though I still consider myself part of the wider community.
I would say disabled people do share some common attitudes interests and goals.
Largely people do want to work
People do want to live independently
access the world around us like everyone else
A lot of neurodivergent people i know are pretty creative!
I'm sure there's lots more! Hopefully some other can contribute
