Such a great article!! Dating apps have such a strange culture that is not helpful. I really loved this interview on NPR in lieu of Valentine's Day this year. It explored the difficulty with dating app culture and how to help navigate them better- I wonder if there are better ways to help create big shifts in dating culture. I appreciate this commentary on this "endless supply of people" and this "dating disposeability" and how deeply unfairly we are treating each other. One of the women reported that her friends would toss someone they went on a date with because "he brought a chicken sand which on a picnic, and they could never date anyone that eats mayonnaise."
