In one of our current research projects at Open Inclusion, we are exploring the kinds of support that disabled university graduates may have available to them as they look for employment. So far we have learned about the following organisations in the UK, and we know our list is not complete!
- Leonard Cheshire's Change 100 programme for summer work placements, professional development and mentoring
- SCOPE's Support to Work programme
- Blind in Business, helping blind and partially sighted people into work
- The National Autistic Society's employment resources
- Employment Autism
- Ambitious about Autism's employability programmes
- My Plus Consulting for disabled job-seekes
- Evenbreak, the job board for disabled candidates
For degree-holders in our community: what organisations have been helpful to you during your job search journeys? Can you help us to add organisations to this list that are making a difference for disabled job-seekers?
