A HIMYM Reunion on the Page
A HIMYM Reunion on the Page
I saw some awesome news this week about Craig Thomas, the co-creator of How I Met Your Mother. His debut novel, That's Not How It Happened, is officially out. You can read the full scoop here.
It sounds like a really personal project. The story is inspired by his own experience raising a son with a disability, and the plot follows a mother who writes a memoir about the challenges of motherhood. I think that blend of humor and heart is exactly what made HIMYM so great.
The most exciting part, though, is for the fans. The audiobook is set to feature a mini-reunion with original cast members Josh Radnor and Cobie Smulders narrating. It's a fun little bonus that makes me want to listen instead of read. I'm definitely adding this one to the queue!
If you could pick any TV writer to pen a novel, who would it be and why?

So cool! I recently listened to Tina Fey's audio book- Bossypants, it came out in 2011, but just did not get the chance to listen to it until now. I really really loved it and felt that it hit the combo of being emotional, raw and real, while also being just so very funny!!
