Accessible gaming - Forza

I just saw this very cool video about the work Forza has been doing to make their car racing game blind accessible. This will obviously be great for those with low or no vision. I can imaging sound cues could be helpful to other players too.
Has anyone played the game who has sight loss or any other access need? What was it like?
